Sapphire Mirror Lake is this years arts and entertainment sim at the Fantasy Faire. I’ve only been able to catch one show there so far this year. Went to two more but crashed while trying to take photos.
There are some really cool and creative art displays up that look great with the mirror water. There is also a large underwater exhibit and an art gallery.
“On the first warm day of Spring every year, the people at Sapphire Mirror Lake reconstruct an Iron Age skeleton of what we may call today a mythical beast: the centaur. It is said the secrets of a powerful lost technology are locked in their bones. This year, they have unearthed a 20 meter high gargantuan, but will it speak?
This is the Arts and Entertainment sim of Fantasy Faire 2016, with a central stage for a variety of first-rate performances, and two galleries featuring Fantasy themed art from the collections of some of the best photographers in Second Life. The story above sets the mood for the builds of the sim, both above and below sea level. Please dive in!

The show I caught this past Saturday was the Chang High Sisters. The set was really neat and what I could see of the performances was as well.
Though honestly, in my humble opinion, it would have been better with a bit less of the particles and high glow. There were many parts where I couldn’t even see the performers. This is not the only show I’ve had that problem with, that and broken ankles (there are many free ankle locks out there). But as I said, what I was able to see I did enjoy and the music was very nice.
Sorry there was no story with this post, SL was not being very cooperative. I hope to have the continuation tomorrow evening so stay tuned!
